Trouser Jeans...for everyone!

Can we talk about how much I am in love with trouser jeans!? There is nothing like tooting into work on a non jeans day in a pair of sleek "cotton pants" ;-) When shopping for a pair, look for a clean rinse with no sanding or destruction with wide or straight leg opening.

Kenneth Cole 'Metro' Stretch Denim Pants. Flat front, slightly flared legs in a great black indigo wash makes this a steal at $79. The yoke back pocket makes this a prefect trouser for the office!

The Calvin Klein stretch trouser jean is more like a traditional 5 pocket jean but has a clean wash and trouser- like details. $79.50 and available in sizes 2-16. A great choice for a weekend jean!

I love the wash on this wide leg denim trouser by Joe's Jeans-$178. The crosshatching and button flap pockets really makes this jean a fresh alternative to the dark rinse.

Penny Pincher Alert: Old Navy's trouser jean "The Flirt" is only $34.50 and comes in extended sizes and in petite,regular and tall inseams. Get it in the fog wash* An absolute must have!!

For my girls with curves, I have 2 great options for you as well!

This Calson trouser is only $78 and come in sizes 14-24w. The simplified welt back pocket will be sure to flatter that young backside!

The Svoboda 'Kate' Stretch Denim Trouser Jean-$118 comes in sizes 16-24w and in average and tall inseams... Perfect for my tall girls!

Beauty Bag: Fall 08 Nail Color

It is about that time to switch from your summer brights into the warm shades of fall! I have trimmed my nails and am ready to explore a whole new world of nail color!

First up is the splurge alert! Metallics are a huge part of fall...So why not let our nails get in on the fun? I absolutely love Chanel's FACETTES D'OR Nail Colour in Gold Fiction .. $30. This color is apart of their Fall 08 makeup collection and is already starting to sell out online.

Check out OPI's Le Collection de France. Make your outfit pop with a hot shade of plum or keep warm with the new reds.

While I know we are super excited about fun color, don't forget to give your nails a rest. Invest in a nail whitening scrub to remove discoloration from finger nails and toe nails or try soaking them in a lemon/lime solution to get a fresh canvas.

**Update: My mom and I tooted to Belk last night and they had the Chanel Gold Fiction. The color is the hotness! If you have time, go to your local dept store and try it out ;-).

Celeb Style

This morning my friend and I were going over our must have accessories for fall. High on the list were a fresh pair of sunglasses! She suggested that I check out the Ray-Ban Wayfarers.

This design was manufactured in 1952 as a break from metal sunglasses that were previously in style. They peaked in popularity after they were worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1961's Breakfast at Tiffany's.

The Wayfarer lost steam in the 70's but made a comeback in the 80's by being being worn by celebs in films including Tom Cruise in 1983's Risky Business.

Let's fast forward to 2008..Beyonce was spotted tooting out this week in a classic black pair..Click here to get them at sunglass hut for $109.95
